I wrote, produced, and directed this film on my school’s unlikely run as an underdog to win the California State Basketball Championship in 2006. Our documentary features a subplot of star player Jeremy Lin’s battle to overcome discrimination and go from an unrecruited, undrafted Harvard star to the first Asian-American to win an NBA Championship. The film is set to release this December.

This paper explores how the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) modern style of play and increased reliance on the 3-point shot has impacted fan engagement over time. I used descriptive research, specifically a self-reported satisfaction survey study of 376 avid NBA fans.
